Balios Technologies, Inc.
In 1974, a group of physics and technology professors at La Pocatière College, in the Lower St. Lawrence River region in the Province of Quebec,
conceived a brilliant idea and decided to put their high-tech knowledge to better use and created Pocatec. Not surprisingly, their initial products
were designed for the educational sector. Pocatec quickly earned a reputation for its top quality line of power supply products. In the early eighties,
Pocatec expanded with new applications, one of which was a new Public Address System specifically aimed at the public transit sector. By the end
of the decade, this niche represented Pocatec's core line of business. Into the 1990s, Pocatec had firmly consolidated its position as an industry
contender and acknowledged leader. Product reliability combined with an innovative spirit made the company an ideal partner for the world's largest
manufacturers, such as AAI Corp., ABC Bus (VanHool), ALSTOM, Bombardier, Motor Coach Industries, Orion Bus Industries, and Prévost Car (Volvo).

Balios Technologies Inc was established in 1989 in La Pocatière, Quebec (Canada), and started supplying the transit industry with LED
destination signs in 1991. Continued development of the technology, and operating success at the time prompted the organization to
expand and offer this superior technology to agencies throughout the United States. Balios USA Inc. was established in 1999 in
Long Island, New York, with sales, manufacturing and service being provided from this location. - Balios USA Inc., was the official licensee
of Balios Technologies Inc. products in the United States. It was incorporated in the state of Delaware on February 19, 1999. Manufacturing
was done from their 6000 square foot facility in Huntington Station, New York. The development of the LED Destination They offered
100% Buy America compliance, ADA compliance, New York State Manufacturer, and they were certified woman-owned business.

With the start of the new millenium, Pocatec and Balios rebranded with a new corporate identity and a new
name: Axion Technologies. On September 11, 2014, Luminator Technology Group acquired Axion Technologies.
