This set of mylar rollsigns are off 1979 Flyer D900 #7907. They both have 92 exposures. The front route sign is dated February 20, 1992, while the side sign has no date, but was printed as part of the same set (in February of 1992.) This sign is essentially an all-time listing, as there are a number of routes listed that no longer exist, or never existed! Although both signs are marked as being made for GMC or MCI Classic model buses, they were used in all the bus models that had standard size front rollsign frames and side sign boxes. Their respective sign tags are shown below. |
This front route mylar is off Greater Hamilton Tours 1989 built MCI TC40-102A suburban Classic #2206. This bus was former HSR #2206, and before that Canada Coach #2206. The sign is dated October 25, 1993 and has 26 exposures. The 16 MCMASTER exposure was hand painted on the sign, and the 32 Garth and 33 Sanatorium exposures are a later tag-on. Its sign tag and a photo of bus #2206 are shown below. |
Greater Hamilton Tours suburban MCI Classic #2206 (on the right, showing the sign featured, above) is seen with sister coach #2207 at Casino Rama, near Orillia, Ontario on Sept. 13, 2000. |
